The memoirs also contain scathing criticism of the system of psychiatry and the psychologists themselves.
The buyer describes them as people who infected each other with delusions, institutionalized them and declared them to be a supposed science.
"Madmen have publicly enforced their delusions," it says drastically.
He accuses them of admitting themselves that madness cannot be cured, neither by therapy nor by medication.
So why all the "circus"?
The answer:
It's a business! A business in which psychologists and the pharmaceutical industry enrich themselves.
The public, who are overwhelmed with dealing with it, are led to believe that something is being done - "mother tranquilizers", so to speak.
Psychologists and the pharmaceutical industry form a powerful lobby, while the "crazy people" have no advocates.
This criticism frames the experiences at the "Blacksite Berlin" in a wider context of systemic criticism of modern psychiatry.
