Economic and Social Transformation through ASI and Technology
Electronic Technocracy initiates a profound economic and social transformation driven by the synergy of Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) and a series of other key technologies.
The traditional economic system, based on human wage labor and taxation, is replaced by a model that fairly distributes the abundance created by automation and technological progress.
A central element is funding through the taxation of AI, robots, and companies. In this system, the taxation of human labor and personal income is completely abolished.
Instead, companies, especially their profits and resource utilization, as well as the use of AI and robots themselves, are taxed – possibly based on their productivity, energy consumption, or computing power.
These tax sources reflect where the actual wealth is generated in this future society. The revenues from this technology levy flow into a Universal Basic Income (UBI), which is provided to every human being unconditionally and in sufficient amount.
This UBI is not only a means of poverty alleviation but a fundamental right that enables freedom from the necessity of gainful employment and lays the foundation for a shift to meaningful activities.
It allows people to focus on creative, social, or scientific activities instead of having to work to satisfy their basic needs.
The combination of almost unlimited, clean energy (e.g., from nuclear fusion) and fully automated production and service provision through advanced robotics and AI leads to the overcoming of physical scarcity of many goods and services.
This marks the transition to a post-scarcity economy, in which food, housing, energy, healthcare, and education are potentially made available to all people in high quality and at very low or no cost.
ASI optimizes global resource distribution by using algorithms that ensure that state revenues, water, energy, and food are distributed efficiently and fairly.
The change in work is fundamental: from necessity to self-realization. Automation frees people from repetitive, dangerous, or simply necessary work.
With financial security through UBI, individuals can voluntarily dedicate themselves to activities that correspond to their passions, talents, and interests – be it research, art, philosophy, social engagement, or space exploration.
The new role of humans will be that of the "idea generator" or "dreamer," while AI and robotics take over the implementation. Automated factories, controlled by AI, could produce products "on-demand," enabling individual mass production and reducing overproduction and resource waste.
Another integral part of this transformation is transhumanism and longevity.
Advances in biotechnology such as gene editing, neural interfaces (brain-computer interfaces), and nanotechnology make it possible to overcome the biological limits of humans.
Aging is defined as a treatable disease, and everyone gains access to therapies that can slow down or stop aging, with the long-term goal of "Longevity Escape Velocity" (LEV).
ASI plays a decisive role here by accelerating biomedical research and optimizing the development of new transhumanism technologies.
The fusion of human and machine (cyborg technology) could expand human capabilities and adapt the species to new environments, such as the colonization of other planets.
All these aspects lead to a society without poverty, homelessness, and exclusion, in which every human being has a right to a dignified life and access to all resources.
