Direct Digital Democracy (DDD) and the Interaction with ASI
Although Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) plays a central and decisive role in Electronic Technocracy, ultimate decision-making power and sovereignty lie with the world population.
This is ensured by the innovative system of Direct Digital Democracy (DDD), which ushers in a new era of citizen participation and transparency.
The scientifically sound and ethically reviewed solution proposals developed by ASI are submitted to the global citizenry for voting.
This takes place via a secure, universally accessible digital platform that ensures every citizen has the right and opportunity to be comprehensively informed and to vote directly on the proposals.
The process of idea development and voting in DDD is multi-stage and interactively designed.
Every person worldwide can submit their ideas and proposals online, regardless of their position or influence.
These submitted ideas serve as a "Prompt" (instruction) for Artificial Intelligence to then develop several intelligent and elaborated versions of the proposal.
The AI performs a preliminary review of the idea, evaluating plausibility, feasibility, and rectitude. Subsequently, the elaborated variants are made public, so that all humanity has access. In online forums, people worldwide can comment on, improve, and further develop the AI proposals.
Through this collective feedback, an optimized final version emerges that considers various perspectives and solution proposals. If an idea receives sufficient approval and improvements from the community, it is again processed and optimized by the AI.
Subsequently, the AI creates a final concept with several approaches to present various scenarios, which are then submitted to the worldwide online vote.
The parallel working method of ASI is of great importance here: independently of human suggestions, it autonomously identifies and develops solutions for all humanity's problems and problems of the state. In doing so, as many and as good solution proposals as possible should always be submitted by the AI for voting.
Examples of such AI solutions include detailed strategies for combating climate change (e.g., proposals for renewable energies, global CO₂ taxes), concepts for eliminating hunger and poverty (efficient food production, fair distribution, technological solutions in agriculture), and groundbreaking approaches in healthcare (development of vaccines, combating pandemics, genetic optimization, longevity).
The transparency and tamper-proof nature of the voting processes are ensured by the use of blockchain technology or similar tamper-proof systems.
This ensures that technology serves humanity and that the collective wisdom and values of the population flow into decision-making.
Direct electro-democracy thus ensures that humans retain control and that the best solution for all is selected, free from interest groups, corruption, or partisan influences.
In this system, political parties and classical elections become superfluous, as people vote directly on ASI's proposals and actively participate in the political process by submitting, discussing, and voting on proposals.
This creates a world in which wars and internal conflicts could belong to the past.
